Le Grande Parterre: Re-Designed, February '09:
Our Le Grande Parterre section of original fine art paintings and prints is being re-designed and re-organized. In this process we have taken down this section of the site. The artist of Le Grande Parterre, Brian Spaeth wears many creative hats, if you are interested in following his music career, click here to listen to his band, The Crazy Pages.

A Book for All Fashion and American History Lovers!:
I am so glad to feature the book Threads of Time, The Fabric of History, Profiles of African American Dressmakers and Designers from the 1850's to Present.
This book was written by my mentor, Mrs. Rosemary Reed Miller who is very known in Washington, DC for her famed boutique, Toast and Strawberries and for her involvement in supporting local designers.

While you're purchasing the "I Love City Life" tote bag or the "Hip Pak", pick up a gorgeous French garden landscape print. These unique French gardens parterres and amazing abstracts will add an exquisite charm to your home decor. Le Grande Parterre is a New York Accents online exclusive.

About Us
I started New York Accents in 2005. I was working full-time as an associate designer in New York City for Jones Apparel Group-Evan Picone brand, a women's apparel company but, knew that I wanted to do more with my life. I did not see myself as a full-fledge designer working for a company other than my own. I wanted more challenges and more variety and guess what? I got it! Starting New York Accents was what I needed to be fulfilled. I've gone on an amazing journey and have met many wonderful people at trade shows and events. I am most thankful for you though, the visitors and customers who have stopped by to shop, leave a comment or just browse.
New York Accents has now grown to include four sections, Shop New York Accents, Kali Design Collection,
Le Grande Parterre and the Going, Going Gone Sale!
The New York Accents brand is colorful, fun, trendy with t-shirts, tote bags and bangles that speak to fashionable women world wide.
The Kali Design Collection is all grown up with fashion design innovation being the key and inspired with a tropical theme.
Le Grande Parterre is our newest section. It features the fine artistic work by Brian Spaeth. I'm very excited to introduce his work to our community. It's colors sit in very well with New York Accents and the Kali Collection. For example, his painting "Dreaming at the Hot End of the Palette", compliments the Hip Pak in white from the Kali Collection. The Swarvoski crystals on this Hip Pak have an iridescent pink color that works really well with the pink sort of candy color that he used in this painting. See table below. I pulled some of my favorite accessories and coordinated them effortlessly with Brian's paintings. New York Accents truly does symbolize fashion, art and love!
The Going, Going, Gone Sale page are items that are no longer re-orderable. These are necklaces and handbags that I did not design but, wanted to present to you.
I love designing wonderful, fun and unique fashion accessories for you. I look forward to offering you more quality fashion accessories with a twist and quality customer service to match!
